Assignment: Impossible
by Will Brooks
Genre: Comedy/TYA
Number of Acts: One act
Total actors required: 2 men, 2 women
Synopis:
The story in this play follows three students and a teacher. All are
in the school doghouse for some sort of misbehavior. All four
are on the brink, and all four cant wait to go over the edge. It
is because of this that the school principle has given them all the same
punishment. They will create and perform a play for the school on the
subject of sex education. The rules are that they cant say anything
dirty or offensive. At first they are all angry
at the world and ready to give up, but as they go along, they form a strange
bond through their shared task. They become a steadfast team and have
more than a little fun writing, and eventually performing the show for
the rest of the school. By the time all is said and done, they have learned
more than a little about being a team and have a new outlook on what school/life
might hold for them. In essence, they now know that they can look forward
to the next day, instead of dreading it.

Hope & Fury
by Will Brooks
Genre: Comedy
Number of Acts: One act
Total actors required: 2 women, 1 man
Synopsis:
A quirky, and sometimes dark, comedy about two estranged sisters dealing
with their mother's death. Brought together again by a rather odd stipulation
in their mother's will, Hope and Fury find that they have a lot of past
that they have to deal with before they can deal with the piles and piles
of family "heirlooms" that their mother has left them. Throw
in a few dark secrets from the past, a lot of gin, a long-lost teddy bear,
an ex-boyfriend, a riding lawnmower, a round of golf, and a few kumquats
and you get one wild ride!
